Which class fits which trip
The comparison above covers seats and bags. This table is about fit: the trips each class tends to suit, and what to weigh before you choose.
| Class | Often booked for | Worth weighing |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | One or two travelers on airport rides, business trips and dinners | Pick an SUV instead if anyone brings a golf bag, skis or a stroller |
| Luxury Sedan | A couple on their wedding day, a client you're hosting, a night out | Same size as the Executive Sedan, with the Mercedes-Benz S 580 as the example model |
| Executive SUV | Families and small teams with luggage, and hourly days around town | With all five seats taken, tell us your bag sizes |
| Luxury SUV | Executives, guests you're hosting and wine country days for a small group | Same size as the Executive SUV, with the Cadillac Escalade ESV or Lincoln Navigator as the example |
| Luxury Sprinter | Wedding parties, team outings, group airport trips and city tours for a crowd | The only class that seats more than five in one vehicle |
Passengers and bags
Two separate limits: seats and luggage
Passenger and bag numbers are separate maximums. A full car leaves less room for suitcases, so tell us your bag sizes and we'll choose the right vehicle with you.
Count every piece: carry-ons, backpacks, garment bags and boxes all take room. Golf bags, skis, strollers, instrument cases and cases of wine need more space than a standard suitcase, so list them in your request.
If you're close to either limit, step up a size. A sedan with two passengers and three large suitcases is full, and an SUV gives the same group room to breathe.
Read the vehicle and luggage guideWhat "or similar" means
The models on this page are examples. You book a class, and your car will be the model shown or a similar one in that class, with the same passenger and bag maximums.
If a particular model matters to you, say so in your request, and we'll tell you in your quote whether we can confirm it.
Executive or Luxury
Each size comes in two classes. The Executive Sedan and Luxury Sedan carry the same number of people and bags, and so do the Executive SUV and Luxury SUV. What changes is the example model, and your quote shows the price for the class you choose.
Groups up to 14
The Luxury Sprinter keeps a group together
The Luxury Sprinter, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or similar, carries up to 14 passengers and up to 14 bags with one professional chauffeur. Everyone rides in one vehicle, so nobody waits on a second car or a separate drop-off.
It suits wedding parties, team offsites and conference groups, family arrivals at SFO or Oakland airport, and wine country days where everyone wants to ride together.
For a group larger than 14, or 14 people with more than 14 bags, tell us the full headcount and luggage, and we'll suggest how to cover it in your quote.

How much does a chauffeured car cost in San Francisco?
We quote every trip individually, so you see the price before anything is booked. It depends on the vehicle, the distance or hours, the date and time, and any stops, and it includes gratuity, tolls and parking.
For hourly bookings, the class sets the hourly rate, with a 3-hour minimum.
Airport pickups include 45 minutes of free waiting time. Other pickups include 15 minutes. Free waiting time starts at the scheduled pickup time you choose. Additional waiting time and extra hours are charged per minute at the hourly rate for your vehicle class.
Your trip is reserved only after we confirm the vehicle, time and price with you. Free cancellation at least 24 hours before scheduled pickup. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged the full reservation price. Your quote shows how and when payment is due.

Questions about our vehicles
Will I get the exact model shown?
The models shown are examples. Your car will be the class you book, in the model shown or a similar one. If a particular model matters to you, say so in your request.
How many bags fit in each class?
Sedans take up to 3 bags, SUVs up to 6 and the Luxury Sprinter up to 14. Passenger and bag numbers are separate maximums. A full car leaves less room for suitcases, so tell us your bag sizes and we'll choose the right vehicle with you.
What's the difference between Executive and Luxury?
Each pair carries the same number of passengers and bags. The difference is the example model, and your quote shows the price for the class you pick.
Do you have child seats?
You can request infant and child safety seats and youth booster seats in the quote form. We confirm them, with your price, in your quote.
Is the Luxury Sprinter chauffeured?
Yes. Every vehicle, including the Luxury Sprinter, comes with a professional chauffeur.
Can you fit golf bags, skis or a stroller?
List them in your request. Large items take more space than a suitcase, so we'll suggest a class with room for them, often an SUV or the Luxury Sprinter.
Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
Tell us what you need in your request, and we'll confirm what we can provide before you book.
Which vehicle should I pick for an airport trip?
Count every passenger and every bag, including carry-ons. Our vehicle and luggage guide walks through sizing, or choose "Recommend one for me" in the quote form.
Not sure which one?
Tell us your group and your bags. We'll suggest the right vehicle and send a price.
